Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has claimed that Chelsea are not in the same bracket as Manchester United.
Spurs face unbeaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, where Tottenham have not won in 19 games.
“I am not being disrespectful to Chelsea but they are a long way from being in the same bracket as Manchester United, because of what United are,” he told the London Evening Standard.
“United have always been a massive football club, they have a fantastic tradition and history, and they get 76,000 people watching them every week.
“Chelsea might finish above them in the table, but to get the recognition around the world that United have is very difficult.
“It would help if they could manage to win the Champions League, but you have to remember that United are a special club.”
