Tottenham remain interested in signing Udinese wing-back Destiny Udogie, according to the print edition of Corriere dello Sport (13/06/22 — as relayed by Sport Witness).
Spurs are looking to continue building the squad in the run-up to the new season, having already recruited Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster on free transfers.
However, Antonio Conte could add to his options at wing-back with the likes of Sergio Reguilon, Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty listed as available for transfer this summer (Evening Standard).
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio recently revealed that Spurs have been looking at Udogie to bolster their depth on the left flank.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a fruitful campaign with Udinese following his transfer from Hellas Verona, notching five goals and three assists (Transfermarkt) as they finished 12th in Serie A.
And Corriere dello Sport reinforced Tottenham’s interest by noting they are closely tracking Udogie, who has been valued at €20 million (£17.1m).
The report states the Italy U21 international’s agents will hold talks with Udinese owner Gino Pozzo this week after receiving two offers from France and enquiries from the Premier League.

Udogie is a very talented young player and someone that would fit into Conte’s system and it could be a decent acquisition if they secure a deal. He will have plenty of room to improve too so that is a bonus when chasing a deal.
