According to the print edition of Corriere dello Sport (15/06/22 as relayed by Sport Witness), Tottenham are still very much in the race for Udinese left-back Destiny Udogie and are continuing to hold talks with the player’s agent.
Gianluca Di Marzio was the first to report on Tottenham’s interest in the Udogie last week, with the journalist revealing that the North London club could face competition from Inter Milan for the youngster.
Sky Sports (13/06/22 – 22:49) subsequently claimed that Spurs could sign the Udinese starlet and loan him out, just as they did with Pape Matar Sarr last summer.
The report claimed that the Italy Under-21 international had spoken to Fabio Paratici regarding a potential transfer to Tottenham.
However, in his update on Wednesday, Di Marzio claimed that Udogie’s agent had met with Inter Milan and the Nerazzuri hierarchy reiterated their intention to conclude a deal for him this summer.
Corriere dello Sport have now claimed that Udogie’s future still remains undecided and despite Inter’s advances, his representatives are continuing to talk to Tottenham and Juventus as well.
The report adds that both Spurs and Juve could potentially offer a bigger transfer fee than Simone Inzaghi’s side.

The one advantage that Inter might have over both us and Juve is the fact that they can promise Udogie first-team football next season, particularly with Perisic departing. On the other hand, Spurs will have to loan the 19-year-old out since we already have Perisic and Sessegnon in our ranks.
