Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks with Udinese over a potential permanent deal for Destiny Udogie, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Italian journalist has claimed that a deal could be reached at around the €25million (£20.9million) mark including bonuses, with Antonio Conte being prepared to allow the teenager to remain at Udinese for a further season if he does join the Premier League outfit.
The 19-year-old left wing-back has also been linked with the likes of AS Roma and Lazio (LazioNews24).
There is also said to be interest from Premier League clubs in the form of Manchester City and Brighton, with the Seagulls having followed up their early interest.
Tottenham have already deemed Sergio Reguilon surplus to requirements having been left out of Antonio Conte’s pre-season preparations and has been linked with a return to former club Sevilla (Football Insider).
The north Londoners recruited Ivan Perisic early in the window to provide competition for Ryan Sessegnon on the left side, and now it appears that the club are looking to further improve their options on that side of the pitch.

Despite having signed Perisic, Tottenham are always looking towards the future and at 19, Udogie has plenty of time ahead of him.
With rumoured interest from Brighton, who look set to lose Marc Cucarella to Chelsea in the coming days, this may have forced Spurs’ hand to move for the youngster rather than risk lose out to the Seagulls.
