According to PFF, Destiny Udogie has been recorded as one of the fastest players across the Premier League.
While Udogie had shown plenty of promise at Udinese over the last years, hardly anyone at Tottenham would have expected him to settle in as quickly as he has.
The 20-year-old, who had exclusively played as a wing-back in Serie A, looks completely at home in Ange Postecoglou’s system as an inverted full-back.
The Italian has not just impressed defensively but has also helped the Lilywhites progress the ball up the pitch, with Ian Wright even picking out the youngster as the Spurs player he is most looking forward to watching at the Emirates in the North London derby (Wrighty’s House Podcast).
Destiny Udogie is one of the fastest in the league
Udogie’s battle with Bukayo Saka might go a long way towards dictating the result of the derby, and the Spurs man is certainly not going to get beaten for pace, with PFF revealing that he has recorded the fourth-highest top speed this season.

Spurs Web Opinion
Udogie is undoubtedly very quick and arguably the quickest player at Tottenham along with Manor Solomon. However, the top speed stats need to always be taken with a pinch of salt as they are measured at any point of a player’s run rather than for a minimum stipulated distance.
