If there is ever a good time to go and play Bournemouth, it probably isn’t now. They’re on a confident run, a run that (hopefully) peaked last weekend when they despatched Hull City in emphatic fashion. 6-1! Ouch! Poor Ryan, Daws, Jake and Tom.
Managerial Wunderkind and England/Arsenal manager in waiting Eddie Howe is currently experiencing a can-do-no-wrong period that will have him, and followers of the Cherries, believing that they’re well equipped to deal out the pain this Saturday lunchtime. Prior to taming the Tigers they drew the Hornets sting and chewed up the Toffees. They have Callum Wilson, Josh King and Junior Stanislas, names we’ve become familiar with over the last few weeks as well as former Spurs Charlie Daniels and Adam Smith, the latter a full back some people thought might be our number two for years as he rose through our ranks.
In the centre of midfield, standing out from their lineup like a festering boil on otherwise alabaster skin is the execrable Wilshere. Twat.
Bournemouth currently sit 11th with 11 points and whilst they’ll be ok with that, they will be hoping for a better ratio than a point per game come the end of the season.
As usual Poch has a few options to choose between when picking our eleven. Fitness depending the back five should be Hugo, Walker, Dier, Vertonghen and Rose/Davies. Wanyama will sit in front of them and Alli, Son and Eriksen are probably inked in leaving two spots for Dembélé, Sissoko, Janssen and Lamela to fight over. Anyone left out will assume that they’ll be the men amongst the boys who take the field at Anfield on Tuesday.
After a couple of draws with very similar narratives, great first half, no goals, second best after the interval, we come into this game not so much needing a win as feeling that if we’re as good as some people seem to think we are, then we ought to win.

It seems fair to assume that Bournemouth aren’t going to sit back and think of Tony Pulis so it should be a style of game that suits us. Both the Baggies and Leverkusen came back into the contests after they bolstered their respective midfields thus a lot will depend on how much superiority we can gain in this area, and of course making sure that we capitalise on it.
Craig Pawson is the referee.
COYS.
