The Spurs players and backroom staff including Cristian Stellini have arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of this afternoon’s Premier League match against Southampton.
Tottenham are on a run of five successive league victories at home, having lost four of the previous five before that. They have won more home points since the start of February than any other side, but despite this, they still face an uphill task to secure a top four finish.
The north Londoners have crucial matches ahead against the likes of Newcastle United and Manchester United, with today’s match proving to be nothing short of a must-win if they are to keep any hopes alive of another campaign in the Champions League.
Stellini admitted in yesterday’s pre-match press conference that Spurs must adapt a style of attacking football and face eight ‘finals’ ahead of them in the run-in.
He told Football.London: “We could do. We have to play eight final games like eight finals. We started with Brighton and now we have eight games. We have to play attacking football.
“We are trying to push more to create more chances, to try to shoot more on target, to create something that can create a good atmosphere in the stadium and to get the crowd behind us.”
Among the players spotted arriving in N17 were Heung-min Son, Arnaut Danjuma and Dejan Kulusevski.
