Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Bournemouth are now preparing their second offer for rumoured Tottenham target Alex Scott after their opening bid for the youngster was turned down by Bristol City.
Spurs are one of a whole host of clubs credited with an interest in Scott (Ben Jacobs – Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel), who has emerged as one of the best talents in the EFL since breaking into Bristol City’s first-team a couple of years ago.
The Lilywhites might have an advantage over other suitors in the race for the 19-year-old’s signature as the teenager has admitted to being a Tottenham fan (Guardian).
However, it is Bournemouth who have made the first move for the youngster this summer, with The Daily Mail’s Sami Mokbel revealing last week that the Cherries had a bid of £15m for the midfielder turned down by Bristol.
Bournemouth set to make another bid for Alex Scott
Romano has now taken to social media to reveal Bournemouth are preparing to test the Championship club’s resolve with a second offer for Scott.
The journalist stated that the Premier League side will submit their new proposal ‘soon’ but added that they also face competition for the youngster from other top-flight sides.

Spurs Web Opinion
It does not seem like Tottenham are prioritising additions in central midfield, with Postecoglou seemingly first wanting to assess the midfielders in the squad. Given the urgency Bournemouth are showing, I fear we will end up missing out on Scott.
