Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to provide an update on the Ange Postecoglou to Tottenham situation, even stating that the contract is close to being agreed.
The journalist claims that new talks have been scheduled for the next 24 to 48 hours, now that Postecoglou‘s treble-winning season with Celtic is over.
Tottenham are now said to be waiting on the final details to be sorted before a formal agreement can be signed with the Australian head coach.
This comes after The Athletic reported earlier today that Tottenham are now ‘close’ to appointing Postecoglou as the club’s next permanent manager. The appointment is expected to be completed in the ‘coming days’.
The Telegraph also reported that Celtic are expecting some form of compensation from Tottenham, but will not stand in the way of Postecoglou making his big Premier League move.
Things appear to be moving fast for Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham Hotspur ahead of what could be a defining summer for the North London club.

Spurs Web Opinion:
Whether you like the appointment or not, at the very least it would be an early appointment. Spurs need to get aligned this summer, and that requires a manager and sporting director as soon as possible, then some early signings.
