Manor Solomon has been speaking about the start he has made to life at Tottenham Hotspur, and admits that, while he is enjoying being at the club, he hopes to start playing more.
The Tottenham squad has changed a lot this summer, with various faces coming in and a handful of players leaving the club.
One of those new faces to arrive in North London was Manor Solomon. The Israeli attacker joined Spurs on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this summer.
Solomon made a name for himself last season during a loan spell with Fulham. He scored five goals in 24 matches for the Cottagers in the 2022/23 campaign (Transfermarkt).
Naturally, the 24-year-old has plenty of healthy competition now he is part of the Spurs squad. Even with the departure of Harry Kane, the Lilywhites’ attack still boasts talent such as Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, and Richarlison.
Manor Solomon wants to play more for Spurs
So far this year, Solomon has played just 84 minutes for his new club (Transfermarkt), and in an interview with the club’s official social media account, he admitted he hopes to play more as the season goes on.
Solomon said: “I really like it, I like the club, the people, the manager. I think we have a great team and we see it every week in the Premier League.
“And I hope to integrate more and more to help the team much more and I’m sure that I will get more opportunities in the upcoming games and I’ll try to exploit them and to give everything for the team.”
🎙️ “We didn't start the game the way we hoped to, we dominated after the opening half an hour and created chances. We're disappointed to lose.”

It was always going to be tough for Solomon to break into the team, and he is going to have to be patient to get his opportunities. He will get more chances as time goes on, and I’m sure he will contribute when called upon.
