Tottenham Hotspur have offered Bryan Gil a five-year contract worth around £41,500-a-week, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Spaniard, who has three international caps to his name is reported to be on the verge of joining Tottenham as part of a deal which would see Erik Lamela head to Sevilla and the La Liga outfit also netting a £21.6milllion fee (Sky Sports).

The winger is said to be considered as one of the brightest young talents in Spanish football, having made his senior debut at the age of 17 (Mirror).

Gil is part of the Spanish squad which will compete at the Tokyo Olympics after being overlooked for Luis Enrique’s side for Euro 2020.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Eibar, where he scored four goals and provided three assists in 29 La Liga outings, but could not help save them from relegation (transfermarkt).

Erik Lamela arrived at Spurs in 2013 as a youngster with plenty of potential and the same appears to be happening with Gil eight years later.

While he does possess quick feet, trickery on the ball and has good crossing ability, he is relatively lightweight for the rigours of the Premier League and will have to adapt fast to the physical nature of the English top flight.
