According to a report from Tuttosport, Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici.
While Tottenham’s focus at the moment is on hiring a new manager, some sources have claimed that Daniel Levy also wants to change the structure by bringing in a director of football.
Spurs have not had a sporting director since Franco Baldini left the club in 2015.
The North London club were linked with a move for Paratici back in 2018 but Juventus refused to let him leave at the time.
Tuttosport claimed that the Old Lady are likely to go through a backroom reshuffle this summer and are now ready to let the experienced Paratici leave. This was backed up when Juventus made an official announcement to reveal Paratici’s exit.
It is explained that Tottenham have shown interest in appointing the 48-year-old, who has seen Juve win nine Scudettos during his time in Turin.
Getting Paratici might also give Spurs an advantage in their rumoured pursuit of Antonio Conte, with the pair having previously worked together in the Allianz Stadium.
