Former Tottenham midfielder Alan Mullery has heaped praised on Tottenham attacker Heung-Min Son and has labeled the South Korean a revelation.

Mullery who played 312 times for Tottenham and went on to manage the likes of Crystal Palace, QPR, and Brighton, raved about the 26-year-old’s goal-scoring abilities.

“Son Heung-Min has been a revelation,” he told Everton’s matchday programme. “He has scored some wonderful goals and he has got great ability.”

“He plays in a wide position, usually on the left, but he keeps coming inside on his right foot and smacks balls into the back of the net. He’s also a terrific dribbler and he’s got pace.”

Son who has been in fantastic form recently, was once again at his best on Sunday at Goodison Park as he scored a brace and was a constant threat to the Everton backline throughout the ninety minutes.

Spurs fans will be hoping the South Korean maintains his run of form through the busy Christmas period before he joins up with his national team in the middle of January to play in the Asia Cup.

Son could miss as many as five games for Tottenham due to his involvement in the competition if South Korea progress deep into the tournament.

Tottenham certainly need Son to come back from the tournament in good shape and perform to the best of his ability if Spurs are going to mount a serious challenge to Manchester City and Liverpool.
