But who would want him? The longer he plays the more his market value will go down to the point where he will be unsaleable. Cut the losses. He could do a job for a second tier side – but I doubt any could afford his wages. He wants far more than he is actually worth. He is not first team PL calibre for today’s Spurs. he was an experiment, a risk. It has not paid off. Hopefelly we could bundle Llorente and Sissoko in with him – but it is a forlorn hope. Who would want any of them?
