Tottenham Hotspur were utterly brilliant today against Everton, thumping them 6-2 in their own back yard.
The three points at Goodison has closed the gap on Man City to just two points, as well as propelling Spurs away from Chelsea.
One man who stood out in a crowd of world class players tonight was Heung Min Son, as he scooped up the man of the match award.
After going 1-0 down to Everton early on, Heung Min Son was the man to drag Tottenham back into the game immediately, pouncing on a defensive mistake before curling into the top corner.
Sonny then went on to force Tottenham’s second goal, with his shot rebounding off the keeper into the path of Dele Alli who made no mistake.
Son added a second goal of his own in the 61st minute, latching onto a fizzed in ball from Lamela before finishing it expertly between Pickford’s legs.
The South Korean topped off his performance of the season with an assist to Harry Kane in the 74th minute, rolling it across the box for the Spurs striker to tap home.
What a game from this man today, it’s just a shame that Spurs will lose him for a period in January.
