According to talkSPORT the club have approached Atalanta over the signing of Brazilian Rafael Toloi.
Toloi, the centre-half, has been with Serie A club since 2015, having joined them from Sao Paulo in his homeland of Brazil.
He is a former Selecao youth international, and he’s established himself as one of the better defenders in Italy during his time in Bergamo; last season he made 39 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with three goals.
And now according to Italian publication Corriere Della Sera, Spurs have made a ‘request’ to Atalanta for Toloi.French side Marseille are also said to be interested
The article goes on to say that we are said to be on the lookout for a new centre-back this summer, with Toby Alderweireld likely to leave north London.
