Corriere Bergamo have reported that Tottenham are still interested in signing Ruslan Malinovskyi in the January transfer window, which is now only a few weeks away.

In fact, in a report about the Ukraine international being a possible outgoing for Atalanta this window, Spurs are the only potential suitors mentioned at all.

Tottenham reportedly ‘remain at the window’ for the attacking midfielder but Atalanta will ask for between €15m and €18m (£12.9m-£15.5m) to sell him in January, despite him having only six months left on his current contract.

This comes just days after Il Giorno claimed Tottenham’s pursuit of Malinovskyi had ‘vanished’ due to the issues currently surrounding Fabio Paratici.

For context, there have been claims that 16 arrest warrants had been prepared for figures involved in various Juventus transfers, including Paratici (Gazzetta dello Sport).

Spurs Web Opinion:

Malinovskyi fits the bill perfectly for what Tottenham need. An attacking reinforcement who can play two or three positions across that front line. I would prefer him over Weston McKennie as Spurs are more stacked in central midfield.
