Fichajes have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are ‘willing to explore’ a possible move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as his future at the club is now in doubt after a recent ‘TikTok incident’.
It is explained that a video was published on TikTok by Napoli mocking the striker, which has led to speculation that he is ‘interested in leaving’ the club.
The report suggests that this has caught the attention of Spurs, who are now keeping tabs on the 24-year-old’s future.
Spurs are looking at big Victor Osimhen transfer
It is alleged that the Premier League side are exploring the market for a centre-forward after Harry Kane’s departure in the summer and while Ivan Toney was initially their top target, they are now also studying a deal for Osimhen.
The publication states that Napoli value the striker at €120m (£103.8m) and Tottenham are ‘willing to explore negotiations possibilities’.
Fichajes add that Ange Postecoglou’s men want to ‘keep their options open’ as they continue to look for a new number nine ahead of the January window.
Spurs Web Opinion
If Osimhen is put on the market by Napoli, a whole host of top sides from the Premier League and around Europe will likely show interest, including potentially the likes of Real Madrid, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea. So, I do not see Spurs getting involved in a bidding war for the Nigerian.
