Ben Jacobs has reported that Daniel Levy has rescheduled talks with Bayern Munich to be held early next week instead of today, as originally planned.

This comes after BILD reported this morning that the flight to bring Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe to London this morning had been cancelled.

Meeting about Harry Kane has been delayed

However, the meeting between the Bayern hierarchy and Daniel Levy was still expected to go ahead once the flight route had been altered (Evening Standard).

Bayern Munich are still pushing to sign Harry Kane this summer, while Levy maintains the striker is not for sale, despite having just one year left on his current North London contract (SkySports).

Now, it appears that Kane will at least not be leaving Tottenham on his 30th birthday, with talks set to take place early next week instead.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Perhaps this was because of the flight issues, perhaps Daniel Levy is playing games with Bayern, or maybe they didn’t want the bad PR of big talks happening on Kane’s birthday of all days. Whatever the case, an exit seems to be looking a whole lot more likely at the moment.
