Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are willing to include attacking midfielder Xavi Simons in a deal to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham.
Last week, multiple outlets, including RMC Sport reported that PSG were ready to challenge Bayern Munich for Kane’s signature, with the publication adding that the Parisians were prepared to do ‘everything possible’ to prize the striker away from the North London club.
A couple of days ago, The Independent even asserted that the Ligue 1 giants are growing increasingly confident that they can beat Bayern to the England captain’s signature.
PSG willing to make player-plus-cash offer for Kane
If Di Marzio’s latest update is to be believed, PSG are willing to include Simons as part of the deal in order to reduce the price of the operation to sign Kane.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who came through Barcelona’s youth ranks, moved to the French captain in 2019 was handed his debut by Mauricio Pochettino back in 2021.
Simons left PSG to sign for PSV Eindhoven last summer and had an excellent first season in Dutch football, scoring 22 times and providing 12 assists across all competitions (Transfermarkt).
The Ligue 1 champions have now activated the £5m clause to buy back the youngster, and it has now emerged that they could offer him to Spurs as part of the deal to sign Kane.

Simons is a talented, young footballer. He can not only cover for Maddison in the number eight role but can also play on either flank.
However, the big question is whether Kane would be open to a move to PSG, with the striker seemingly having his heart set on a transfer to Bayern.
