Matteo Moretto has reported that PSG and Tottenham held ‘contacts’ about Harry Kane in the ‘last few hours’, with the French giants keen to see whether a deal could be reached.

Harry Kane has entered the final year of his contract in North London, meaning Spurs may have to sell him in the next 6 months or risk their star striker leaving on a free.

Moretto claims there is a good relationship between the owners of PSG and Tottenham, but no agreement of any kind has been reached over a deal involving Harry Kane.

Harry Kane is yet to make up his mind on transfer

The player himself has not yet made a decision on his future and is well aware of the summer interest from Bayern Munich. Thomas Tuchel is said to be ‘under pressure’ to bring Kane to the club.

Constantin Eckner reported this week that Bayern are expected to return with what would be a third bid for Harry Kane (The Evening Standard).

The Times say PSG or Bayern would have to offer £100m, paid almost completely upfront, to win the race for Kane’s signature this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion:

A bidding war certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing if Tottenham are open to selling Kane this summer. However, it does feel as though this saga is going to drag on and on until either the window closes or Kane leaves. Not idea pre-season preperations for the Spurs squad.
