The Mirror have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are one of three Premier League clubs keeping a close eye on Ousmane Dembele’s situation at Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the January transfer window.
PSG paid €50.4m (£43.5m) to sign Dembele from Barcelona in the summer but the forward has not made a promising start to his time at the French capital, having failed to register a goal or an assist in his first five matches for the club.
The Mirror claim that even though Luis Enrique has backed Dembele publicly, the 26-year-old could soon fall down the pecking order since the Spaniard is not short of options upfront.
PSG could consider offloading Dembele in January
In fact, the publication goes on to add that the Ligue 1 giants would even consider loaning out the former Barca star in January if Enrique green-lights the move.
It is alleged that Spurs as well as London rivals, Arsenal and West Ham, are keeping tabs on Dembele’s situation ahead of the next transfer window.
The report claims that Tottenham and Arsenal had expressed interest in the Frenchman in the past while David Moyes is keen on adding more firepower upfront.

There has never been any doubt about Dembele’s raw talent but we have seen enough evidence now to suggest that the forward perhaps lacks the extra drive and the mentality to ever fulfil his full potential.
Having said that, perhaps Postecoglou might fancy his chances of bringing the best out of the 26-year-old.
