Tottenham finally ended their woeful run of September results yesterday with a 2-1 win away to Brighton.
This came after defeats to Watford, Liverpool and Inter Milan, two of which Tottenham led close to the final whistle, only to see all three points snatched away.
Harry Kane got his name back on the score sheet after a mini goal drought that stretched back to the Manchester United game in the Premier League.
The England man slammed home a penalty after Kieran Trippier’s free kick was blocked by the arm of Glenn Murray.
This spot kick meant that Kane became the most prolific Premier League penalty taker since August 2015.
In this time, the Tottenham lead man has tucked away 13 penalties in 15 games, more than any other player has managed.
This doesn’t even take into account his three inch-perfect pens for England in this summer’s World Cup, as well as one he stuck away in a penalty shootout against Colombia.
What. A. Player.
