Tottenham finally ended their horrible losing streak yesterday with a 2-1 win over Brighton in the Premier League with some of the squad sharing their thoughts on social media.
Spurs had previously lost to Watford, Liverpool and Inter Milan, twice leading the games close to full time.
Goals from Harry Kane and Erik Lamela helped put an end to Pochettino’s worst ever run in charge of the Lilywhites.
Kane put Spurs ahead in the first half from the penalty spot after Trippier’s free kick was blocked by the arm of Glenn Murray.
Erik Lamela then doubled Tottenham’s lead with a beautifully controlled shot, swept into the bottom corner with 15 minutes remaining on the clock.
In typical Spurs fashion, however, things were far from easy, as Knockaert pulled one back two minutes into injury time, and then missed a good chance to equalise just one minute later.
Spurs took home the three points, which sees them move clear of Manchester United, who drew to Wolves, and Arsenal, who are set to play today.
The players took to Twitter to express their joy at putting to bed a woeful run.
