Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has revealed that rumoured Tottenham target Serhou Guirassy has a release clause of £17m in his contract with Stuttgart.
Guirassy was a revelation during his loan spell at Stuttgart during the second half of last season and the centre-forward has hit even greater heights this season after completing a permanent move to the Bundesliga side in the summer.
The 27-year-old has 15 goals in nine matches across all competitions for the German side so far in 2023-24 (Transfermarkt) and is unsurprisingly thought to be attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League.
TEAMtalk claimed earlier this month that Tottenham are one of the sides eyeing the striker, with Brighton, West Ham United and Fulham also said to be monitoring his situation.
Spurs could land a bargain in Serhou Guirassy
Plettenberg has now taken to social media to reveal that the Guinea international has a release clause of €20m (£17.4m) in his contract.
However, the journalist added that as things stand, Guirassy has no plans of leaving Stuttgart in January, with an exit from the club more likely next summer.

Spurs Web Opinion
Guirassy’s goal record until the start of 2023 is very modest, which gives rise to a slight suspicion that the 27-year-old might just be going through a purple patch at the moment. That perhaps explains why the likes of Real Madrid are not seemingly after the Stuttgart star.
