Roman Pavlyuchenko is waiting on a response from Roma in order to help push through his exit from Tottenham.
His agent, Oliver Wendt is still hopeful that the Italian giants will follow up their interest in the Russian forward, after holding a meeting last week.
Pavlyuchenko is still keen on a move away from Tottenham in order to secure a regular first team place, despite Harry Redknapp’s assurances that he wants him to remain part of the Spurs squad.
Rumours have linked Pavlyuchenko with a return to Russia as well, but Wendt is still keen to persue the the reported interest from Roma, despite contact being sparse in the past few days.
“Pavlyuchenko wants to leave Tottenham. If Roma are interested in Pavlyuchenko they should contact us and Tottenham. We await a response from Roma.
“I have not heard Roma since the famous contact of last week in London and there hasn’t even been any contact with Tottenham lately.”
Redknapp recently suggested that Pavlyuchenko was still part of his plans and reports had claimed that a loan deal was more likely, but Wendt has ruled that out.
“No, the loan of the player is not possible.”
