Tottenham Hotspur have now revealed that they would be taking on AS Roma in Singapore during pre-season ahead of the next campaign.
Spurs have already confirmed that they will be touring the Asia Pacific region during pre-season ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
The club announced back in March that the tour would include a trip to Perth, Australia where they would be playing a London derby against West Ham United.
The game will be played on Tuesday, 18 July at the Optus Stadium, which has a capacity of 61,266 and is primarily used for Australian rules football and cricket.
The Lilywhites have now revealed that they would be flying to Singapore following their Australian leg, where they would take on AS Roma.
The clash against the Italian side will take place at the Singapore National Stadium on Wednesday, 26 July.
This would be the second pre-season in a row where Tottenham take on Roma, having played against Jose Mourinho’s side at the Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa, Israel last July.
Spurs Web Opinion
I expected Tottenham to tour North America this summer since they did go to Asia during the last pre-season.
However, it looks like the North London club are now seemingly doubling down on the Asian market for commercial reasons.
