Here’s one for you.
According to the Sunday Mirror, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has notified the hierarchy at the club, that he wants to sign Tottenham talisman Harry Kane for £100 million.
It has been reported that Mourinho has told Manchester United to spend all the money put aside for a possible deal for Real Madrid want-away Cristiano Ronaldo on two-time Golden Boot winner Harry Kane, who scored 29 Premier League goals in just 30 appearances last season.
This would be in addition to Mourinho’s reported interest in purchasing Spanish striker Alvaro Morata for a rumoured £60 million from giants Real Madrid.
Despite Mourinho’s possible intentions, Skybet still has Harry Kane priced at 1/8 to remain at Tottenham this Summer, which would confirm what we all immediately assume when reading these stories; that there’s no way in a million years that this sort of a deal would go through.
I’d price Harry Kane at more than double £100 million, as a 23 year old goal machine, with his entire career ahead of him, as one of the huge reasons why we have a shot at winning a title for the first time in decades, with his work rate and determination and hunger for success and passion for this club.
I’d be asking for £300 million minimum to sell to a rival, especially Mourinho. In fact, I’d add another £50 million just because it’s him.
Out of curiosity, how much would you price Harry Kane at?
