Like when we were knocked out of the Champions League by Leipzig, both players could get injured at the same time. If either for say 6-8 weeks at the same time, our season is over. I have not seen enough of Brian Gil, but also disappointed we have never replaced Eriksen. Our set pieces are weak. Son is ok at corners and crossing free kicks, but not brilliant. We do not have anybody who can take a decent shooting free kick. The fact Dier takes some is laughable. Ward Prowse would have been a great signing or a foreign set piece expert. Otherwise we haven’t done badly. Pape Sarr is exciting, although after our performance Saturday, could he not do a job now for us? Nuno, so impressed against Man City, plus the improvement in Dier and Sanchez, but we must create and be good to watch. He should know player’s limitations as we as fans do, he should know more. The line up was wrong Saturday, poor changes and not early enough. Ndombele is a star, albeit frustrating. Use him. Had he used fringe players more, we maybe may have got bigger fees for them (especially Sissoko and Aurier, who was amazingly no fee). A 3rd right back when we lack creativity in midfield was an odd one. If we can’t get the ball to Harry or to the wingers we are stuffed. We lack a dribbler and someone with a Modric/Hoddle range of passing.
