The Daily Mirror have claimed that Wolves would prefer to sell rumoured Tottenham target, Ruben Neves, to a foreign club rather than a fellow Premier League side.
Neves’ future at Molineux Stadium is up in the air, with the midfielder set to enter the final year of his contract in June (Transfermarkt).
90 min reported last week that Tottenham and Liverpool are two of several clubs who have asked to be kept informed of the midfielder’s situation ahead of the summer transfer window.
The publication claimed that while Wolves are keen to tie down the 26-year-old to a new contract, the player is seeking a new challenge and wants to play European football next season.
The Mirror have now also suggested that Neves is attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe but the publication does not mention Spurs as being among the midfielder’s suitors.
Instead, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool are named as the four clubs vying for the Portugal international’s signature.
The report adds that Wolves rate Neves at around £50m but the West Midlands club would much rather sell their star player to a club abroad.

Wolves will likely look to get a bidding war going in order to get as big a fee as possible for Neves this summer.
Tottenham would have to finish in the top four to have any chance of winning the race for the midfielder as the 26-year-old is certainly not going to have a shortage of suitors in the summer.
