The Daily Mail have revealed that Wolves might have to cash in on rumoured Tottenham Max Kilman in order to balance their books this summer.
Reports indicate that Spurs are likely to be in the market for a left-sided centre-back this summer even if they sign Clement Lenglet permanently from Barcelona (The Athletic).
One of the players the North London club are allegedly looking at is Max Kilman, who has been a fixture in the Wolves back line this season.
Journalist Ben Jacobs told CaughOffside earlier this week that Tottenham are ‘admirers’ of the 26-year-old and could consider making an offer for him this summer.
If The Mail’s latest update is to be believed, Wolves would be open to selling some of their prized assets, including Kilman.
The report states that the club need to ‘show caution’ in the market in order to stay within the financial fair play rules and are thus planning on selling some of their players and targeting new signings in the £8m-£15m range.
Kilman is named as one of the players that Julen Lopetegui’s men could cash in on along with goalkeeper Jose Sa, wide men Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence.

There are not really too many left-sided centre-backs on the market and Kilman would certainly be a useful squad option, having Premier League experience under his belt.
However, I doubt Tottenham would be thinking about finalising transfer targets at the moment, given that their managerial search appears to be back to square one.
