The News of the World are linking Tottenham Hotspur with a possible move for Mark van Bommel.
The Dutch midfielder is currently the skipper of German giants Bayern Munich and could be available for around £3.5million.
Spurs look set to miss out on Patrick Vieria, and Redknapp could move for the 32-year-old as an ideal replacement to add some experience to his midfield.
