Alasdair Gold has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are insisting that Harry Kane has indeed been given permission to fly to Germany.

Just when it seemed like the Kane deal was about to go through after a series of twists and turns, yet another roadblock appeared this morning.

Multiple sources reported over the last few hours that Tottenham had not given permission for the striker to fly to Europe (Florian Plettenberg).

Spurs have told Kane he can fly to Bayern Munich

The 30-year-old was instead thought to be waiting in his family home near Stanstead Airport for the green light to travel to Munich for his medical.

It has been suggested by some sources that the reason for the delays is that Tottenham are looking to make some last-minute changes to the deal (Kaveh Solhekol).

However, if Gold’s update is to be believed the reason that Kane is yet to board a flight to Germany has not got anything to do with Spurs as the North London club insist they have given the striker permission to fly to Munich.

It’s hard to know what is true and what isn’t with a deal this big. Whatever the case, it seems certain that Harry Kane is leaving Tottenham in the next 24-48 hours, which will completely engulf the Brentford opener and beyond.
