Tottenham Hotspur have certainly been busy in the January transfer window this year as the rebuild in North London continues under Jose Mourinho.

Spurs first brought in Gedson Fernandes from Benfica on an 18-month loan period to bolster the thinning midfield after Moussa Sissoko picked up a knee injury.

The Lilywhites then announced that Giovani Lo Celso, previously on loan from Real Betis, had signed for the club on a permanent basis until 2025.

In the same moment, Tottenham also revealed that Christian Eriksen had been sold to Inter Milan, with the Great Dane’s contract running out in the summer.

Tottenham have now announced a third signing of the winter window in Steven Bergwijn from PSV, with Sky Sports reporting that the winger had his medical on Tuesday night.

The fee is said to be £25.6m plus add-ons for the 22-year-old who scored 15 goals in 41 games last season, as well as another six during this campaign (Sky Sports).

Spurs announced the news with a ‘reveal’ video on their official Twitter channel.

Spurs Web Opinion:

A great signing, both for the present and the future. It looks as if Mourinho is going to be given new players to work with in order to bring glory to the new stadium.
