Last season, Steven Bergwijn was lining up against Tottenham in the Champions League group stages. Today, he was announced as the latest Spurs signing.
Bergwijn joins the North London club from PSV this January transfer window, swapping the Eredivisie for the Premier League.
During his time in the Netherlands, Bergwijn won three Eredivisie titles, played 146 games and scored 31 goals (Wikipedia). The Daily Mail claim that the deal is worth £27m.
Bergwijn has now given his first official interview as a Spurs player after the announcement:
