90 min have revealed that Liverpool and Manchester City have now entered the race to sign Tottenham target, Even Ndicka.
It was 90 min who reported two weeks ago that Ndicka is an option that ‘appeals hugely’ to the Lilywhites, with his contract at Eintracht Frankfurt, set to run out this summer.
The same publication has now offered an update on the centre-back’s future, stating that he will leave Deutsche Bank Park on a free transfer when his contract runs out in June.
However, it is revealed that Man City and Liverpool have now both entered the race, with the two clubs alleged to have reached out to Ndicka’s representatives regarding a summer move.
It is explained that while RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol remains Man City’s priority for the left centre-back role, they view the Frankfurt star as a cheaper alternative for the position.
In addition, Paris Saint-Germain are also named as admirers of Ndicka but it is asserted that both Manchester United and Newcastle United are not overly keen on the 23-year-old despite being ‘offered a route into the sweepstakes’.
Spurs Web Opinion
There is no doubt that Ndicka would be an upgrade over Clement Lenglet.
So, one would expect Spurs to test the waters for the Frenchman, given that he is available on a free.
We certainly stand a chance of winning the race for the 23-year-old as he would perhaps feel that he is more likely to be a regular starter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium than at the Etihad or Anfield.
