Davies will be excellent on the left for this inverted role next season. Reggy or Udogie as the flying wing back when needed.
Royal to be the right back who inverts I guess, Porro and Spence for the flying wingbacks.
People might look at that and say “great we have options to switch up if we needed”. I look at it and say it’ll bring confusion to our own team. Being predictable in your tactic isn’t an issue if your players are good at it, the top teams don’t change their tactics much, they just bring their A-game. Spurs should change their fullbacks (once again) to match their tactics. If that means selling Reggy, Udogie, Porro and Spence to get solid inverted fullbacks who can actually defend so the rest of the team is able to attack, then so be it. Make it so!
