Sami Mokbel from the Daily Mail has reported that Tottenham have agreed a deal in principle with Nottingham Forest for the transfer of Brennan Johnson.
The journalist claims Spurs have agreed to pay £45m for the Welsh forward, and the two clubs are now in talks about the terms of the bonus payments included in the deal.
This comes just an hour after Sky Sports revealed that Brennan Johnson had arrived at the Nottingham Forest training ground, where the squad were due to drive to London for their match against Chelsea this weekend.
Johnson deal agreed between Spurs and Forest
However, it appears Johnson may be taking a detour to North London if all goes to plan, with Spurs and Forest now agreeing a fee in principle.
The Athletic also reported that Daniel Levy was leading Tottenham talks and was hoping to get Forest down from their £50m price tag. We do not yet know whether the £45m total includes bonuses or if that is the total of the entire deal.

Spurs Web Opinion:
You would expect this one to be done in the next couple of hours, and then probably confirmed closer to the deadline once a medical is complete. Say what you want but Tottenham are giving Ange the players he clearly wants.
