Fabrizio Romano has given his trademark ‘here we go’ to the transfer of Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest to Tottenham Hotspur.
An agreement has reportedly been reached between the two Premier League sides, with Tottenham paying in excess of £40m to get their man. The total package is said to be worth up to £45m with add-ons included.
Brennan Johnson is now on his way to Hotspur Way to complete his medical tests, although he was set to travel to London either way with Forest playing Chelsea away this weekend.
Brennan Johnson to Spurs gets the ‘here we go’
Johnson would be Tottenham’s ninth signing of the summer transfer window, after deals were made permanent for both Dejan Kulusevski and Pedro Porro, while James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario, Micky Van de Ven, Alejo Veliz, Manor Solomon, and Ashley Phillips also joined the N17 club.
Tottenham take on Burnley tomorrow afternoon in the Premier League, but it is not mentioned whether Johnson will be ready to make the matchday squad so soon.

Spurs Web Opinion:
All you can ask for from a summer transfer window is for the manager to pick targets and the club to get them. No matter what you think of the players, Ange Postecoglou is getting the people he wants and that is exciting for Spurs fans everywhere.
