Phil Hay from The Athletic has reported that Djed Spence is closing in on a loan move to Leeds United for a figure of £1m. 

Football Insider also recently revealed that Tottenham are demanding a loan fee of more than £1m from Leeds United for Djed Spence.

It was reported by Sky Sports News on Monday that Leeds want to strengthen at right-back before the transfer window shuts and had opened talks with Tottenham over a loan deal for Spence.

However, it was explained that the deal was not at an advanced stage and that other clubs were also eyeing a move for the Spurs star

Djed Spence is closing in on a move to Leeds United

The Athletic report claims that Spurs will be sending Spence on a full-season loan to Leeds United for a £1m fee, but there is no option or obligation to purchase the 23-year-old.

This will be a good move for Spence as Leeds play on the front foot under Daniel Farke and the 23-year-old needs regular starts next season if he is to rebuild his confidence and get his career back on track.
