Udinese star Lazar Samardzic has praised Destiny Udogie, even stating that the on-loan Tottenham man is the best left-back in Italian football.
Spurs paid £20m to snap up Destiny Udogie from Udinese last summer on the back of his breakthrough season in Serie A and loaned the youngster back to the Italian club.

The North London club’s decision has been vindicated as the 19-year-old has had another astounding campaign for Andrea Sottil’s side, impressing defensively as well as going forward.
The 20-year-old, who has featured most often as a left wing-back, has scored three goals and provided four assists in 32 league appearances this season (Transfermarkt).
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold revealed back in March that there is plenty of excitement at Tottenham regarding the impact that the left wing-back will have next season.
According to Samardzic, Spurs certainly have good reason to be excited, with the Serbian backing his teammate to hit the ground running in North London next season.
The midfielder told The Italian Football Podcast (as relayed by Football Transfers): “Udogie is the best left back in Serie A for me. He can do everything.
“I think he will be an important player for Tottenham next year. He is an amazing player.”

The best judges of players are usually their teammates who watch them in training regularly and all of Udinese’s stars have nothing but good things to say about Udogie.
So, there are reasons for Spurs fans to get excited, particularly considering that the left-back is only 20 years of age and is nowhere near his peak as of yet.
