Jurgen Klopp has expressed his feelings on a settled Tottenham squad for the season ahead, after the North London team became the first in history not to make a single summer signing.

Both Tottenham and Liverpool have strong squad this season, and will both be hoping to challenge the likes of Manchester City for the title.

The clubs finished 3rd and 4th respectively last campaign, and will both be appearing in the Champions League this season too, a competition that Liverpool reached the final of last time out.

Jurgen Klopp had this to say on Tottenham: “If City isn’t the No1 then there will be others going for it.

“I really think Tottenham will have a brilliant season. They are together still and have a fantastic manager.

“A few other teams have a big chance too. Chelsea look really positive, Arsenal not a good start but that will change.”

Tottenham will be looking to kick on from their best Premier League start in three years with a win against United on MNF, while Liverpool will look to beat Brighton this evening to keep up their own 100% record.
