Sport have now claimed that Real Madrid are willing to offer one of their players to Tottenham as part of the deal to sign Harry Kane in order to bring down the cost of the operation.
After it was confirmed that Karim Benzema would be heading to Saudi Arabain side Al-Ittihad this summer, Marca reported on Sunday that Real Madrid have prioritised Harry Kane as the Frenchman’s replacement.
The outlet asserted that Los Blancos had already spoken to Kane’s entourage, with Daniel Levy said to prefer selling the 29-year-old to a club outside the Premier League.
Sport have now claimed that Kane is keen on making the move to the La Liga giants as he believes it is a ‘great opportunity’ to play at a club where he would have a shot at winning the Champions League.
The striker allegedly feels he has earned his right to make a decision on his future and is hopeful that Spurs ‘loosen’ their stance.
The publication adds that the Lilywhites are asking for more than €100m (£86.3m) for the England captain, with Madrid now hoping to ‘lower the price’ by including one of their players, who would be of interest to the Premier League side, in the deal.

I do not think Tottenham would make a final decision on Kane’s future until Postecoglou (if he is appointed) speaks with the striker and the club hold talks with him regarding a new deal.
However, should the England captain turn down the contract offer, Spurs would perhaps be tempted to sell him to Real Madrid.
However, it remains to be seen if the 29-year-old would want to leave England, given that he has three young kids and the fact that he is chasing Shearer’s record.
