Cadena SER have claimed that Real Madrid have already spoken to Harry Kane’s brother and agent, Charlie, and are keen to sign the Tottenham man before the second week of July but Spurs are expected to make them wait.
The report states Real Madrid have held conversations with Harry Kane‘s entourage and are ready to offer the striker a contract worth €15m (£12.9m) per season, which is €4m (£3.4m) more than the striker currently earns at North London.
However, it is explained that the La Liga giants know that the negotiations with Daniel Levy will be ‘tough’ particularly because the Spurs chairman is in ‘no hurry’ to sell as he feels that time is on his side.
Cadena SER state that Madrid are willing to pay €80m (£68.8m) for the England captain while also offering Ferland Mendy to Tottenham as a part of the deal.
The outlet adds that the Premier League club would not mind if the operation stretches until August while Los Blancos want it completed by mid-June so that Kane can be part of their pre-season tour.
Alfredo Pedulla reported today that Tottenham and Madrid have come to an agreement on a deal ‘in principle’ that would see Kane swap England for Spain.

We are likely to get a clear picture of where Kane stands in a week or two once he has a discussion with Postecoglou about his future.
I still feel that the most likely scenario is that the striker will end up seeing out his contract at Tottenham before leaving on a free transfer next summer.
