David Ornstein has said on Rio Ferdinand Presents Five that Harry Kane is open to all possibilities this summer, including moving to Real Madrid and staying put at Tottenham.
The journalist explains that Real Madrid have been quite clear that they would like to sign Kane this summer but are aware that the move is going to be ‘extremely difficult’.
This is because Tottenham do not want to let the striker go and it is going to take a ‘really big fee’ for the North London club to even consider doing so.
Ornstein adds that Los Blancos certainly plan on testing the waters and could give Levy a decision to make by making an offer.
Harry Kane would be open to Premier League exit
The journalist also squashed suggestions that Kane would not be open to leaving the Premier League due to his desire to break Alan Shearer’s record, stating that the 29-year-old is open to ‘all opportunities’.
Ornstein added that this also includes the England captain agreeing on a new contract with Spurs, which remains a possibility.
Finally, he explained that he does not get the sense that Kane is ‘agitating’ for a move as he did in the summer of 2021 when Manchester City came calling, with the situation being much ‘calmer’ at the moment.

Spurs Web Opinion
We will get a much clearer idea of Kane’s stance and Tottenham’s plans once the striker has a conversation with Postecoglou and the club bring up the topic of a new contract with his entourage. One would expect that to happen over the coming weeks.
