90 min have revealed that rumoured Tottenham target Eberechi Eze turned down a new contract offered by Crystal Palace earlier this summer.
Eze enjoyed the best season of his career so far in 2022-23, with the attacking midfielder putting his injury problems behind him and finishing the campaign with 14 goal contributions (10 goals, 4 assists) in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old now appears to be fulfilling the immense potential he has always possessed, winning his first cap for England back in June in the Three Lions’ 4-0 over Malta.
The Palace star now looks ready to make the step up to a bigger club, which is perhaps why it comes as no surprise that he is allegedly of interest to both Tottenham (Football.London) and Manchester City (Daily Mail) this summer.
Eze has turned down new deal from Crystal Palace
90 min’s latest update comes as a boost to Tottenham in their pursuit of Eze, with the publication revealing that the player was offered a contract extension by the Eagles earlier this summer but declined to put pen on paper.
The outlet also discusses City’s interest in the former QPR star and adds that his decision to turn down the new deal ‘casts doubt’ over his future at Selhurst Park.

Eze only has two years left on his contract at Palace. So, if he has no intention of signing a new deal, this could well be the last transfer window where the Eagles can expect to get a massive fee for the attacking midfielder.
So, the South London club’s resolve will be tested if Tottenham make an offer of around £55m-£60m for Eze in the final week of the transfer window.
