Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson has shared his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League match against Sheffield United which takes place tomorrow afternoon.

Last time out, Lawrenson predicted that Tottenham would beat Burnley 2-0, when in fact it ended up as a 5-2 victory for Ange Postecoglou‘s side with Heung-min Son scoring a hat-trick, while Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski scored one each.

Tottenham head into the fixture looking to continue their Premier League form prior to the international break which saw them win three of their opening four matches, with their only dropped points coming in the opening day 2-2 draw at Brentford.

Will Spurs beat Sheffield United?

The Blades are still seeking their first win since their return to the top flight with just a single point to account for their first four fixtures.

Lawrenson believes that Spurs will continue their impressive form by taking all three points against the Blades at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He told PaddyPower: “Ange Postecoglou has done well, hasn’t he? He’s got Tottenham playing fast, attractive, football.

“They play Sheffield United who could and should have beaten Everton in the last time but Tottenham look good at home.

“Tottenham 2-0 Sheffield United.”
