A lot has been said this week about Roy Keane’s comments on Harry Kane and Manchester United on Sky Sports Super Sunday.

The ex-United player claimed that the solution to Man United’s striker problem was easy, simply go and get Harry Kane from Spurs.

Kane has been regarded as one of the very best strikers in the Premier League, if not the world, for many years now, with three golden boots to his name already.

Harry has also started this season extremely well, despite Tottenham’s struggles across all competitions with just four wins out of 13 games.

However, Manchester United have also had a very poor start to the 2019/20 campaign, as they currently sit all the way down in 14th in the Premier League table.

Tottenham are in seventh, which begs the question, would Man United be a step up or a step down for Kane?

Pochettino has now reacted to Keane’s comments in a very diplomatic way (Football London): “I heard the comment. Of course, I respect him and admired him when he was a player. He was the kind of player who you want beside you, or as a centre-back like me, you want him in front of you. Whenever I listen to him he is very clinical in his comments. Of course, he loves good players and Harry Kane is a fantastic player. We more than agree Harry Kane deserves everything.”
