Gary Neville has confidently asserted that Daniel Levy will not let Harry Kane leave this summer for a fee lower than his valuation.

The Sun reported two weeks ago that Levy deems Kane to be worth £175 and that the England captain has accepted that he will be at Spurs next season as no club is likely to pay Tottenham’s asking price.

However, The Athletic cast doubt over Kane’s future last week by revealing that the 27-year-old has decided to ask to leave Spurs if the club does not qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Tottenham’s hopes of finishing in the top four were massively dented by a 3-1 defeat to Manchester United yesterday, a result which leaves the North Londoners six points off fourth-placed West Ham.

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has eased Spurs fans’ fears by revealing that nothing has changed with respect to Kane’s future, with Tottenham still maintaining that the striker is not for sale.

Some pundits have backed Manchester United to snap up Kane in the summer but Neville believes that his former club will have their work cut out to convince Levy to part ways with the striker.

According to HITC, Neville told Sky Sports Football (4:37pm, April 11, 2021: “He is not going to panic, Daniel Levy. He will hold out for what he wants.”
