Fabrizio Romano has reported that Tottenham Hotspur left-back, Sergio Reguilon, is joining Manchester United on loan before the close of the summer transfer window.
The journalist claims there is a verbal agreement in place between Spurs and the Red Devils, with Reguilon currently undergoing a medical ahead of the move to Manchester.
Sergio Reguilon joins Manchester United on loan
Although it appears the deal will be a full-season loan, Man United will have a break clause in January in case they no longer need the Spaniard. Reguilon will likely serve as cover until Luke Shaw and Malacia return from their respective injuries.
The former Real Madrid man appeared for Ange Postecoglou in pre-season, but has yet to play a single minute in the Premier League or Carabao Cup this year.
It was reported by Lyall Thomas last week that Man United were looking at Reguilon, but Manchester Evening News suggested his wages would be too high for the Premier League giants.
It appears Spurs and Man United have been able to come to an agreement on that issue though, as Reguilon has secured himself a temporary move to one of the biggest clubs in the world, despite not being able to get a look in at Tottenham.

Spurs Web Opinion:
The transfer window really does throw up some strange deals like this. Honestly, it’s a win for everyone. Reguilon gets a big move, Man United get left-back cover, and if he does well, Tottenham will surely find it easier to locate a buyer for the Spaniard.
